Our History

Senan Fitzmartin known as “Fitz” immigrated to the United States from Ireland with $27 dollars and a dream of success. He started out as a laborer and for 18 years he worked his way up through the ranks in the commercial construction industry.

Fitz starts Constructors, which grew to a Global Construction Management Company.

Don Fitzmartin started in the construction industry in 1982. Over the next 17 years he managed the design and construction of numerous build outs and developments in 19 cities across the United States.

Fitzmartin’s first assignment in Denver was to build a 110,000 square foot call center for MCI in six weeks. The MCI account grew with multiple facilities totaling over 600,000sf in Denver and Colorado Springs.

Fitzmartin’s second big assignment was 17 floors in Republic Plaza which consisted of call center, data center and emergency backup for a financial user.

Fitzmartin became an independent construction consultant for The Staubach Company in Denver as a tenant rep specialist. Working on the VISA Campus in Highlands Ranch and numerous other projects.

Recruited by the world’s largest real estate company CBRE for expertise in tenant representation. Co-founder of the Colorado Energy Coalition.

Recruited to participate in the National Renewable Energy Execs Inaugural Class. Recipient of a DOE Grant and successfully reduce electricity by 37% the Cash Register while managing a five floor restack.

Fitzmartin Consulting Company was launched in Denver in 2009. By 2010 Fitzmartin had secured over a million square feet of projects with such notable clients as Holme Roberts and Owen, Rothgerber Johnson and Lyons, Qwest, CenturyLink, Vectra Bank, Kamlet Reichert, Smashburger, Mellow Mushroom and Callahan Capital Partners.

Successfully Completed Liberty Global in LoDO.

Successful completion of the Dream Chaser Facility in Louisville Colorado.

Successfully completed 17 floors at 1670 Broadway.

Continued working through pandemic as the government recognized the significance of construction workers and deemed them essential. Despite supply chain disruptions, Fitzmartin successfully delivered projects on time and within budget.
